So Fulham need 3 results (2 wins) to go above us, assuming we don’t get another point, and they only have 5 to play. Their next game is Chelsea away - if they lose that, as expected, that’s basically it. However we have 2 games before that round of fixtures. We’re safe aren’t we? And I’m always a worrier - but I think we’re safe after that result today.

Don't jinx it!!!

I am a worrier too, but even I at this point feel absolutely 100% safe. There will be a lot of bedwetters Tuesday night assuming we're comfortably spanked by Chelsea by 3 or 4 but that's modern football fans for you. We'll get something against the Blades and our goal difference is worth a point. We've done just enough to be comfortable.

Nice to see England's undroppable centre back beasted by another centre back who is better than him, but can't get a look in from Southgate.

We've been safe for a while.
Fulham can't score more than 1 a game and rarely keep a clean sheet.

They might scrape a couple of wins and a couple of draws, meaning we need to get a win from Leeds/Sheff Utd/West Ham/Wolves/Arsenal.
Our recent record against 4 of those teams is excellent.

It's over, just a matter of time.

Fulham need to win games, we on the other hand just need not lose them.

We're not safe! Saying we are is really beyond me. I do think we'll be OK and am not worried, but to say we are safe is just inaccurate.

It depends on your point of view.

There's safe ( at minimal/no risk) and Mathematically safe (cannot be relegated).

We are safe and have been for a while. but only because Fulham are unable to win.
Not because it is impossible for them to stay up.

Ha I’m usually positing exactly what you are... I just feel very very confident we’re ok, but of course, not there yet.

Pathetic from van de Beek then. Tarkowski stands on his foot, and he goes down screaming like a banshee and rolling around clutching his leg just below the knee. Pathetic.

I would love to see a panel review stuff like this and and ban the cheat for 3 matches.

Awful behaviour.

As long as we don't lose by 15 goals on Tuesday we should be alright.

The extra funds for finishing above Burnley among others might be useful. Difficult to cheer Man U though, struggling to beat teams with players worth a lot more money.

Fulham need a min of 3 wins and at least 1 draw from a last 5 of, Chelsea A, Burnley H, So’ton A, Man Utd A & Newcastle H.
Looks do-able if Parker can fire them up for the 2 Home and Southampton.

Burnley have, Wolves A, West Ham H, Fulham A, Leeds H, Liverpool H & Sheff Utd A.

WBA’s last 7, Leicester A, Villa A, Wolves H, Arsenal A, Liverpool H, West Ham H & Leeds A. 7 points from their next 3 would make things interesting.
