Serious incident involving a player at Bournemouth. Details are sketchy. Players have gone off.
BBC saying Tom Lockyer, Luton defender, collapsed on the centre circle with nobody near him.

Worrying reports from Dean Court as Tom Lockyer goes down. He’s motionless. Rob Edwards races onto the pitch as play is stopped. He takes his players off. Paramedics are currently treating the Luton captain. No speculation, though minds will inevitably go back to his collapse in the play-off final last season. He also went down at half-time against Brentford a couple of weeks ago. Thoughts, wishes and prayers.

Tom Lockyer is being taken off on a stretcher by paramedics and club medical staff down the tunnel.

All supporters in the ground rise to their feet to applaud him off.

As it stands, play has been suspended.

If you have a known heart condition then maybe a sport like football isn't for you? Remember Asa Hartford from my youth.

Obviously hope he recovers.

Tom Lockyer had heart surgery in June to address a problem that saw him collapse during Luton's play-off final win at Wembley.

The 28-year-old had an atrial fibrillation, a condition the NHS describes as causing "an irregular and often abnormally fast heart rate".

I really don’t think now is the time for that kind of discussion. Thoughts and prayers with the man.
