I guess castle winning still means 8th likely for conference. As they will finish top 7 (you would think). Although pool winning is still preferable.
Seeing we're taking short cuts with team names.
Did you think ton dropped 2 points at ity yesterday ???
I do hope we beat est in the FACUP

on viaplay (the service we have in the netherlands) the first thing they said at half time Peter Schmeichel goes, "And Burn huh, former brighton player". I was wondering why he would bring that up, then I noticed it was (brighton supporting) Jules Breach who was interviewing.
(if Mac Allister gets one in the second half maybe we will get another shout out)

Winning this trophy is bigger for Newcastle than for us when we got promoted to the Premier League.

How Eddie Howe will get his players back on planet earth to compete for European places is anyone’s guess but I suggest it will be very difficult indeed.

I can’t see any benefit to the Albion of Liverpool winning. I’m hoping the Geordies do it and spend a month or so on the sauce celebrating and simultaneously dropping down the table like we did when we gained promotion handing them the title.
Feels like the kind of post which could easily come back to bite us on the arse when we finish a place outside the European spots but below Newcastle.

Not inconceivable that a team outside the top 6 wins the FA Cup and that we finish 7th and Newcastle below us!

Imagine getting the Sky gig for this United Leicester game, it must be the biggest slap in the face they can give

“So what game have I got on Sunday?”

“Well, it’s not the Cup Final or the Arsenal game.”

“So what is it?”

“Well, I’ve got an extra special job for you…”

It’s like when the thick kid is given the “special job” of collecting the scissors at the end of the class.

"What about the Spurs V Fulham game that will be shown in the states?"

"No, no. Leicester v United please".

Can’t really do that with Uniteds though - just like English kings; too many Teds.
