I would imagine the referee is now mighty relieved that he was able to simply check the shirt pull which was very obvious. Even with VAR the debate as to whether the keeper had full control of the ball looked way trickier to call even with slow motion VAR check

Nunez is gash. Again fails to make the easier pass inside to Salah and instead goes for the far more difficult one to Alexander Arnold
