Watford really do need a couple of decent results, don't they?

On the Monday Night Club they were expressing surprise that they've not got rid of Ranieri given their fixtures over the next eight days...

Watford are going to be my second team for the rest of the season, how MASSIVE is their match with Newcastle this weekend

Their game at Newcastle on Saturday is going to be massive as you say, if Watford can extract all three points from it it will do them an awful lot of good, and if Burnley fail to pick up points against Leicester, will provide them with a nice little buffer zone between them and the relegation places.

Newcastle though need those points even more, and fail to get them would find themselves in even deeper doo do. :shit:

He'll be sacked if they lose this weekend... Not that it helps, its the guys on the pitch that wins and lose games. Newcastle, Watford, Norwich and Manchester United are not exactly storming up the table.

On the other hand if Watford were to beat that lot then I actually think Howe might be looking over his shoulder (possibly literally…)

Maybe. I think he'll be given a bit more time though. If they continue to lose when they've signed what they're going to sign then its a different story.

The bottom four really are dire, aren't they? Between them they've managed a grand total of 6 points from their last 20 combined games.

The rate they're going they'll only need 28 points to stay up.

Tomorrow's game (Sat 15/1) between Burnley and Leicester has just been postponed due to Covid in the Burnley squad.
Hopefully that will help Leicester to be a bit undercooked next weekend.

- although they will have Spurs at home on Weds night.
