So by my rudimentary calculations, if Liverpool beat Villa & Spurs get 3 points or fewer from Brentford and Leeds, beating Saints and Villa gets us Europa with three free hits against Arsenal, City and Newcastle.

Still a lot of ifs and buts, but it's well within our own hands.

Looking good. Two wins could well be enough for 6th now thanks to our goal difference. Every chance Spurs will drop points against Brentford or at Leeds and Villa SHOULD lose at Liverpool.

Newcastle drew 2-2 with Leeds today, Villa lost 1-0 with Wolves last week (who we beat 6-0), Arsenal have in the last month failed to beat West Ham (we beat 4-0 and 2-0), Southampton and Liverpool and also lost to Everton under Dyche, and Southampton now have nothing to play for. Predicting the next 5 games - good luck . But assuming we're out of Europe or its all over. Hardly. We're right in there.
