This one will have us believe the Albion are not only faffing around in the opposition penalty area, more than last season.
But the Albion are also going against the trend by doing so.

I don't mind Sunday evening, I can ignore everything else and have a good weekend, get the beers in for 7pm Sunday and watch us play well and lose before bed time, at which point I'll be pissed enough to not care, maybe get a few ill considered rants off in the matchday thread beforehand :blush:

Haller with auch a bad touch he ended up passing it to a Leeds player and gifting them a penalty.

£40 million.... FORTY.

Followed up by the worst penalty ever, pea rolled it.

Got to feel sorry for goalkeepers, I understand if keepers are yards off the line but that looked super close to me.

And off we go again with more VAR nonsense. I'm sure some killjoy will be along to tell me it's a "factual" decision. Well I don't care, its a load of old bolllocks and against the spirit of the game.

Super diffiuclt for a keeper to save a penalty now they have to stick to the line. Hard and on target almost guarantees a goal. I've probably been too harsh on Ryan on recent penalties.

Looked like his heel was on the line. No close up so who knows

Indeed, another thing to add to the list we can no longer celebrate.

I have to say I don’t even understand why the rule exists, why do goalkeepers have to stay on the line? Penalty takers are allowed to pause, do a handstand and sing bohemian rhapsody but a goalkeeper must on the line when it’s already hard enough to save a penalty.

I genuinely thought his heel was on the line there, they seemed to make the decision extremely fast....,

Really entertaining game so far but Leeds are so open, West Ham should have scored 3 already. This game could be any score in the end.

Really fancy our chances against Leeds with our ability to be able to pass through their kamikaze press. Think we could score a few against them.

Do I get a ban if I state that I really enjoy watching Leeds play?

Apologies if I have the wrong poster.

But I seem to recall you being in favour of VAR?

So we've had a bumper crop of penalties, this season.

Does anyone know how many have actually been saved.
I don't mean the ones taken by Fulham or the Albion!

How many penalties have been physically saved by the goalkeeper?

I think you might have the wrong poster although I freely admit that I thought it would be a good idea when they were thinking about bringing it in. I was very very wrong although if they could figure out a way of just using it for the absolute clangers then it could work.
