Old man seen wondering around talking to himself, last seen at the dump Croydon.

Saints have way more quality in their current, quite old, squad than us. Slowly slowly catchie monkey (if we can stay up)

Better keeper and strikers too, although Welbeck COULD prove to be a steal for us

And yet Monday was a 1-1 game - in all but a VAR (alternative) world

I hadn’t payed a great deal of attention Southampton’s XI on Monday, I couldn’t believe it when Ings came on and Redmond followed shortly after, they were getting stronger and stronger. It’s a nice squad they’ve got now.

And yet they are pretty well the same collection of players who have been irredeemably, unwatchably crap, especially at home, for most of the past two or three seasons. Maybe there is something to this idea of improving the players you have got rather than going out and buying new ones. Hasenhuttl seems to be better than Potter at doing that as well as talking about it.

And we could have won, which is why I am so happy to have GP as a manager. It’s a slow process climbing the table but the football is a joy, even if we are not getting the results (for whatever reason) we can give just about everyone a game these days

Zaha got a scrape to his shin and acts like he’s had his leg snapped in 17 places.

Possibly disfigured for life, a serious incident.

That’s poor from Lloris IMO

This is where Jose will be criticised for his tactics, they’ve really been way too negative this second half after dominating the first half.

Palace just equalise and run to their fans and at least one fan is cheering in the players faces with no mask on. What is the point of bubbles and controls when clubs dont steward it properly.
