Have you morphed into triggar? Unintentional handball wasn't an offence as recently at least season

I was of the impression it was overlooked to keep the game flowing, but acted upon when it directly influenced the game, a la last night.

Not really incompetence to not spot a ball hitting the arm from point blank range, with his hands and arms next to his body.

Of course not but that level of scrutiny is how we got to the VAR world now.
I could of added 'that decision could cost West Ham millions of pounds - everyone could see it was handball, except the ref, we need technology'.

No, that's the new rule. The old rule stated their had to be intent on behalf of the player handling the ball

That didn't stop Marcos Painter getting sent off at Leicester for a second yellow. He had his hands down by his side but the ball was kicked at his hand. Referees have always done what they want to do VAR or not.

So, what do we want for the Palace game? Obviously not a Palace win - although if they do win, then Arsenal are catchable today! Getting fed up with these Palace conundrums every week....

17 straight palace defeats to send them down.

Draw. Keeps both of them catchable.

I wonder if any Liverpool fans find it a bit anti-climactic to go hungry for a league title for what, 30 years?, and then win it half-way into the season with no competition and not excitement.

We’ll be nowhere near Arsenal once things play out

As unlikely as it seems, it would be great to finish above Palace in the Premier League.

As such: Up the Arse!

Hmmm...... No. I bet they couldn't care less!

Too right.

The handball rule needs changing, even if we ignore yesterday’s decision.

We are now in a position where someone defending a scramble in the box from a corner would be better off purposefully blasting the ball at an opponents hand than trying to actually clear it. It’s a ludicrous situation.

The Famous Selhurst Atmosphere the media bang on about really isn't all that, is it.
50 ultras singing the same dirge for 5/10 minutes at a time and then switching to some other dirge. Thought the same every time I've watched them at home.

Also, Talksport half hour ago kept talking about selhurst being such a tough place to go, and then in the next breath almost saying palace are the lowest home goalscorers in the prem. I don't get the media love-in for selhurst?

The atmosphere sounds quite good right now.

It’s all the Arsenal fans, admittedly
