What a shame, but these things do happen to older players and Palace have quite a few.

Their defence will be ripe for the plucking until he's back (obviously as Talkshite were eulogising about his leadership skills, fitness and importance to the team earlier today).

The reality is between the two of course, but he'll be a big loss.
