For those that don't know the story.

A few years ago the Albion had firmly focused on Falmer as the only suitable local site for a new stadium. There were no close runners.

Conservationists and LDC were scrabbling around for anything that would weaken the Albion's case. Enter Perseus with his own personal agenda to get the stadium sited at Pende.

This was seized upon by the opposition with the result that the Albion had to lay out considerable sums of money refuting the alternatives rather than invest in players.

So I hold Perseus partly responsible for the situation the team are in at present.

Not content with this, he is now seeking to undermine our new Chairman.

This was total crap. Pende was never mentioned anywhere but NSC. The South Downs lobby still don't know where Pende is cause they too stupid.

See the Chess Puzzle Thread for why we need more expertise on the Board. I am not condemning Tony Bloom's role, but we need another Big (Chess) Player.

New Regime ?

I don't know of this heralds a new regime or just the changing of the figurehead. I suspect the names have changed.

The palace of mirrors
Where dog soldiers are reflected,
The endless road and the wailing of chimes,
The empty rooms where her memory is protected,
Where the angels' voices whisper to the souls of previous times.

Ah right, so Tony Bloom, despite being able to amass a fortune in excess of £100m by the time he is 39 now needs a chess player to help him run a tin pot League 1 club? The penny drops. This chess player we so desperately need, you don't happen to know anyone do you percy?

Nope, I expect Blue Lizard have connections. Personally, I would like to see a new player with even more dosh, but I expect they will keep the current staff for the Falmer project.

I don't know Poker very well. I had it down as a game of tactics. Chess is a game of strategy with tactics as well. Football at Brighton right now is just tactics. To get to the Premier League we need a strategy. Just borrowing players and messing through is not even going to get us out of League One. Not matter what the Argus says.

Cloughie cleared out the dead wood and set the wheels in motion the last time. The Blooms were around to see it happen. Tony Bloom would have been very young at the time.

I would not bank on Brighton Council. They haven't got the gumption to dispose of a lump of scrap metal cluttering up the sea bed.

Have you got some kind of Virgo-esque contract with NSC that requires you to post on every thread?

Great reply.:drink:

Won't bother replying myself as most people have covered that ground about this little shit bag.

I Call

Isn't it obvious ?
Tony Bloom hasn't really got the money. He's bullshitting us and just hoping that we get to the Premier League before anyone notices, or calls his bluff.

Premium interst rates on a risky bet ? I call.
