Really good set of results for us I thought.
1. Crystal Palace win away at Arsenal, good form with then gunning for top 11.
2. Fulham get into their best form of the season, clearly looking to finish strongly to take into next season.
3. Newcastle mathmatically safe, job done.
4. Southampton drawn back into the relegation fight, we could be above then 5pm next week.
5. Arsenal lose keeping ManUtd in the top 4 race.

I’m feeling a lot more positive than I did at 21.30 last Tuesday.

6. Cardiff got unnecessarily cocky for 5 days, then lose at home and so knocked off of their twattish perch.

With one game fewer on the board.

A larger gap and fewer games - sounds like improvement (however small) to me.

By the way, do you know NSCer Ninja Elephant?

I know the nic, not the person, I don't think, why?

Sheer curiosity - you both have a very similar propensity for arguing against the prevailing opinion whenever possible.

Not a criticism, just an observation.

Mate, I love arguing, so long as it doesn't get to fruity. I can always see the wrong in the right and the right in the wrong. I just do it for enjoyment, without trying to undermine other people. And I am also able to say when I think things are wrong without worrying about the shit storm.

I have him on ignore......

There again, even my posts are not always appropriate.

No idea how any football fan didn’t see that as a nailed on penalty.
Perhaps it's because we knew he was going down even before there was enough contact for it to be considered a foul, so when he inevitably did fall, it felt like he was cheating, even if on this occasion he wasn't.

We would have gone ballistic if it had been our player being held like that and the penalty been turned down.
Not sure about ballistic - that's just standard for us now.

Not according to the linesman who watched Andone wrestled to the ground.

The interpretation of an event by an official does not change the fact that, arms wrapped round an opponent anywhere on the pitch, to deliberately impede movement is a , 'wait for it'....., a foul. Wow what a surprise.

How many did your boys score at the Amex??

I think, to be fair I think Dougie was pointing toward their away record helping us. I think the next 2 weeks should be ‘Nice to Palace Fans Fortnight’.

If you work with, have relatives, know of any Palace fans, see if you can do them a nice turn, bring a cake in, make a tea, do something nice.
