Youre right about their players having balls and our being bottlejobs, but their squad overall is really not miles ahead of ours..... Its the difference of being managed by a conservative, defense obsessed quiet man, v's a lot more pragmatic and tactically flexible manager who can inspire and motivate his players.

Nah, remember back to our first season when we fought, battled and scrapped for virtually every point and beat top six teams at home. Second season syndrome. Liverpool will probably score and we will be in a better place than pre 3pm yesterday.

Sky’s commentator is a bottler. After 5 minutes Camarasa went down lying with a completely fake head injury, the ref rightly said play on. The ball was then kicked out for the air ambulance to land. Not a questioning word said by the commentator about it, instead he meticulously looked on replays for the foul that never was.

That's because the ref played on, and commentators default position is always that the ref is wrong so they are desperate to find the angle that would prove them right.

Once upon a time commentators used to commentate, it wasn't their jurisdiction to have an opinion. Just because you know the player on the ball by his shirt number doesn't make you an expert. Sadly they seem to have an opinion nowadays that no-one really gives a f**k about.

I can’t get worked up about this, it’s so inevitable that this would be a close and competitive match. Cardiff have balls, we’ve got bottlers. If we go down it’s entirely our own fault, the damage has been done, it won’t be because of the last four games of the season so just sit back and see what happens.

And yet we held Liverpool to two 1-0 wins, and are still above Cardiff.....
