Are we a little over the top about number of games played I remember Lampard playing I think 54 games in a season. Championship clubs seem to play 2 games a week Recently Haarland and Kane played 3 games in 8 days and upfront that is a lot of running.

Milner and Gross are injured for those who have them in their team.

I don't want Dunk, Pervis, Gilmour, Mitoma to play. We need them rested for the much bigger matches coming up (Villa, Marseille, Liverpool).

I'd have:
Bart
Lamptey
JPVH or Webster
Igor
Youth player to play full back (Lamptey can play left or right)
Baleba
Buonanotte (give him a confidence boost after coming off at h/t and play him centrally)
Ferguson or JP
Three other youth players or March, Adringa, Fati

Save Lallana for the other games too.

I am liking these threads (y)
Steele
Veltman - Webster - Igor - Lamptey
Baleba - Dahoud
March - Fati - Adingra
Pedro
Honestly, we could field eleven U21 players and still beat Chelsea

From shed end on game thread this week….. mixed comments, but mostly think they should play a strong team;

‘Silva has to be rested, asking him to play 3 games a week is asking too much.

Otherwise no sure how Poch should approach this.

Brighton are levels above us, if they have an off day we have a chance, like when they payed West Ham. If it is the Brighton who is crushing everyone then is a long game ahead for those watching’.

We've been told Groß and Milner are expected to be unavailable until after the international break.

That was under Graham Potter. When we played Arsenal and Charlton under RDZ he had just a couple of U21s on the bench. With the injuries to Gross and Milner he may want to protect Gilmour and Dahoud. I wouldn't be surprised if Lallana played in there next to Baleba.
I was trying to be mildly amusing, but evidently failed..

Assume Baleba will start no? Looking forward to seeing more of him after Sunday's cameo.

I completely forgot about Lallana.

So AL in the starting eleven in place of Buonanotte, AL then subbed off at half-time

Might not be the game for it, as maybe we'll want to rest Dunk, but im interested to see a CB partnership of Dunk and Igor.
