Im suprised nobody has mentioned the potential of the young southampton lad Luke Shaw.

if i am correct, there is only one poster on here who has left Welbeck out. Well i would like to be the second. He has had his chance and is not good enough.

Granted his finishing is not that great and he is a little clumsy on the ball but I think he could develop into a pretty good player. His link up play is superb and he is one of the few players who always offers for the ball and moves it on-then makes an option- he is also pretty versatile position wise so I would take him. I would leave Lampard and Defoe at home though I think.

Hart, Forster, Ruddy

Walker, Johnson, Smalling, Cahill, Jones, Jagielka, Baines, Cole

Townsend, Walcott, Gerrard, Carrick, Wilshere, Barkley, Morrison, Oxlade C

Rooney Sturridge Welbeck Berahino(Provided he is starting for WBA and scoring)

Chances are we probably won't win so I hope a couple of the younger players get to go.

If it was picked today it would probably be this, but there is always a surprise call up. Could be Ross Barkley or Ravel Morrison this time as midfield looks bland.

Joe Hart, Ben Foster, John Ruddy.

Glen Johnson, Gary Cahill, Phil Jagielka, Ashley Cole, Phil Jones, Chris Smalling, Leighton Baines.

Steven Gerrard, Frank Lampard, Jack Wilshere, Michael Carrick, Tom Cleverley, James Milner, Andros Townsend, Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain.

Theo Walcott, Wayne Rooney, Daniel Sturridge, Danny Welbeck, Andy Carroll.

Joe Hart, Ben Foster, John Ruddy.

Micah Richards, Gary Cahill, Phil Jagielka, Ashley Cole, Phil Jones, Chris Smalling, Leighton Baines.

Steven Gerrard, Frank Lampard, Jack Wilshere, Michael Carrick, Tom Ince, Ross Barkley, Andros Townsend, Oxlade-Chamberlain

Wayne Rooney, Rickie Lambert, Jermaine Defoe, Theo Walcott

Cleverly, Wellbeck and Glen Johnson definitely out - I don't understand what Tom Cleverly does, Wellbeck is this generations Heskey and Glen Johnson always seems too error prone. Then again, Micah Richards isn't exactly flavour of the month at man city let alone the FA, so time will tell I guess....

There is no way I wouldn't take Defoe- even being a sporadic player at Spurs he seems to score every time he plays, I still rate him and can't believe he hasn't gone elsewhere to get 1st team football!

I'd be very surprised if Sturridge isn't in the squad.

After Roy's half-time comments I reckon the Arsenal lad Kieran Gibbons is a decent outside bet.

If he carries on with his current form Nathaniel Clyne could well play his way into the squad. Kyle Walker is a liability and Johnson seems to be injured all the time.

There are plenty of options at left back, but very few at right back. As well as Cole, Baines and Shaw, Kieran Gibbs is having a very good season in that position for Arsenal. I think it's more likely Hodgson will choose centre backs who can cover the right back berth to back-up Johnson, assuming he is fit by then.

Is it too late to join in this FUN FUN GAME?

I'm going to go ahead and post my squad anyway. Mejona can decide to disqualify me or not on his own whim.

G.K: Hart, Foster, Forster

Def: Baines, Cole, Johnson, Walker, Cahill, Jagielka, Jones, Smalling

Mid: Gerrard, Henderson, Wilshere, Carrick, The Ox, Lallana, Sterling, Milner

For: Rooney, Sturridge, Welbeck, Lambert

The aim has got to be to defend like Chelsea and attack like Liverpool.

I think that would probably be mine although Townsend might be squeezed in there for Jones/Walker or Milner
