West Ham will not finish in the top two. Their home support are right whingers and you should check out who they've got left:

Middlesbrough
Reading
Birmingham
Brighton
Hull

Moreover, they've got Leeds away and then Middlesbrough at home next Tuesday. In that time, Reading have 3 easy-ish away fixtures, so I can see it going tits up for West Ham in the next 8 days. Marvellous.

Quite surprised did the score predictor on BBC! I would be happy with sixth place in reality but as everyone says, in this division anyone can beat anyone

Does fourth seem to about the limit to anyone else? Catching Reading, Saints or West Ham seems like it'd be difficult at best.

You've got your maths wrong. Hull have a higher average per game than us. So do Middlesbrough.

Reading will stroll to the title. Saints and WHU are chokers.

They have 3 easy games coming up (Donnie, Posh, Barnsley) to make it 11 wins from 11. eek

Yes, we are the chokers that Have been in the top two pretty much all year, even when we were shit in December and January. Now we're top again and I believe we have the quality and depth to stay there.

West Ham are crawling to the end it appears and may or may not make second, depends on whether Reading implode through this month and next which I believe they will do.

If you believe that Leicester or Leeds are still in the play off race, then you could argue that we are in the race for 2nd (even though that is even more unlikely).

Who knows though? All of the top 6 have 2 tricky fixtures each coming up:

Barnsley v Reading
Miilwall v Soton
Leeds v West Ham

Hull v Soton
West Ham v M'boro
Peterboro v Reading

If none of the top three get a win from those 6 games and we win both of ours, I may start to believe we're in with a shout. Until then, we're competing only for a play off spot.

I'd say you're favourites owing to the extra points in the bag, and the superior goal difference. But Reading have to play both of you yet...

At our place, which is somewhat of a fortress, only losing points in our bad run. I honestly don't think we'll drop points at home again. Hull and Boro away I think we'll lose, but the other away games we'll pick up a couple of wins and a couple of draws.

In Lambert, Sharp, Lee, lallana and Guly we have a very potent front 4 when we play, that is what will take us up.

At the end of last season, I'd have been happy with fourth from bottom in the Championship. Staying in this league was our priority.

Now we are talking about possibly finishing fourth from top!

What Gus, Tanno, Charlie, and the players have achieved in fantastic,

TB's willingness to back Gus has been instrumental, both in the Summer with bringing in the likes of CMS, Buckley and Lua Lua, plus getting in players of the calibre of Vicente,Rayes, Mattock and Razak.

We are a Club on the up.

FWIW, I had us just missing out on the play-offs, by a point - but then I had us losing at Forest, Burnley and West Ham, and only drawing with Reading, Blackpool and Birmingham.

I'd take having to win at Barnsley on the final day to grab a play-off spot.

Don't forget 2 great cup runs including 2 big premiership scalps.

The backing this year in terms of new players from TB has been great, but I guess that the majority of this has been paid for by said cup runs and all that TV money. Let alone what us lot are spending at a full Amex every week.

Good times indeed...............

Another inch closer to being in a playoff finish - Middlesborough have played TWO more home games than us, and did not gain ground today - remaining a point behind still.
Blackpool lost, Brum and Cardiff play each other tomorrow and can't both win.

We are edging closer, even playing crap and letting 2 points slip in the final seconds.
