Sorry - that's a part of the game I will change. The card says you were offered a defensive midfielder which is just a fancy name for a defender in this game. I will just put Defender or Attacker in future.

As for him dropping a point from his potential rating - that is more likely to affect better teams than it is lower teams. The idea being that a new player will make more difference to a smaller, less good squad than to a big team like Chelsea. It is still down to the dice though - he could have gone up a point or 2 with a good roll.
