If Poyet situation resolved now and as expected he goes then got to be looking at 2 weeks to get new guy in place so would say unlikely to have manager when players report back

Not if TB has already got a list of managers to go for, in fact i would expect him to have a list ready to get it sorted quickly.

No doubt if Gus did go, people on here would wet their pants about not being told every little detail about the approaches for a new manager.

First pre-season matches start in early July this season. Slightly earlier with the commencement of the football league on Saturday 3rd August.
