So annoying I've just watched the highlights, and I can see that Stephens is back to his usual trick of giving the ball away from lazy arse passes. Does he have something on Potter, or are we going to continue to play this bellend?

Calling a player who played an important part in our promotion and has since helped us remain in the PL for three seasons a 'bellend' is frankly at a deluded Leeds fan level of ungraciousness.

Absolutely right. He has been an excellent player for us and we should never forget it..........................He does play like a bellend these days though.

Agree - there were a few on Saturday’s match thread.

Felt like ‘fans’ were hoping he’d give the ball away, when IMO the bigger culprits were MacAllister and Maupay.

Can't remember tbh. Do friendlies ever live long in the memory ? As vagabond said, nobody is busting a gut, nobody gives a toss. Number 1 priority is NOT getting injured, so its hardly ever going to be a proper game. I remain astonished at just how much some people read into these training ground exercises.

So sorry, forgive me for speaking !! :wanker:

It also says “based on current Government guidelines”. It seems at current rate that the Gov will allow whoever CAN stick to the guidelines to have fans back.

Arsenal are looking to sell tickets within the next week - it would be surprising if this doesn’t go ahead now, and this is the start of October. So there will almost definitely be fans in stadiums in October.

It’s unlucky for those sides who have decrepit stadiums and areas with higher prevalence. I doubt the rest of the league would wait.

I may have to concede that fans will be in selective stadia by October, Teams unable to abide by the current Government guidelines could argue that teams allowed fans have an unfair advantage.

Statistically the home side under perform with no home fans.

 yeah, I’m not certain it’s fair either. But at the same time, business is business. It’s a tricky one.

Are they? Can’t see them. Not that I want to watch them. I only watched the ‘Highlights’ yesterday.
