When does 1st team/squad pre season training begin ?

I'd like to know this too.

I was told they have three weeks off after the end of the season.

Last match was Sunday 26th July. That would suggest they come back Monday 17th August.

I wonder how Alzate is doing? He must have had the groin operation.

Would like to see Ben White in training obviously...with Lallana!

EDIT: Would be pretty dope if the away kit is white (with blue pinstripes) and we have a publicity shot of White in white

Loads of teams are already back in pre-season training, even some have a game already (U23 Palace playing at Crawley tomorrow), plus they're playing Millwall at some point. So I wonder why we're later than others by starting on Monday? AND still without any fixtures announced?

U18 & U23 went back on Monday this week. Our first team go back on this coming Monday.

Saturday 22nd Aug - BHA v Portsmouth at Lancing.

Portsmouth's Kenny Jackett said: ‘We have Brighton next week at their training ground. We’ve had some good friendlies against Brighton, they have been constructive games, fantastic facilities at their training ground. As far as I am aware, it is a first-team squad. But exactly what they are putting out, I’m not sure.’

Kenny Jackett has suggested that they are playing against a ‘decent strength’ Albion side today rather than the traditional U23 side they face normally when they play us pre season at the training ground.

Most football league teams are playing in the Carabao Cup first round on Sept 5th, Watford are playing Spurs on that day, and Bournemouth are playing West Ham.

So, the September 5th match is a bit of a mystery for now, assuming we are not playing a PL team...
