Only used the Exchange after it reopened, that took some time. Before that floated (before and after drinking!).

Usually the Eclipse or Seagull Tavern when at the Goldstone. Sometimes the Maytree or Stadium if walking from home.

West is BEST
Wasn't around for Goldstone so Withdean days was Good Companions followed by Tap. I will have shared a few jars with many on here at one time or another. If only they knew!

Has to be the Eclipse, proper football pub on a Saturday afternoon.

Playing Killer on the pool table before it got to busy and covered by a piece of wood with a Seagull picture on it.

Walking in to the pub at exactly 12 noon when Ken opened the doors.

Drinking until 2.50, left with £5 in hand to pay to get in and stand on the East terrace next to the away supporters.

Great friendships made that are still here today.

And a fantastic firm to boot. E.C.F.

The Bosun,in the 70s early 80s pre game and a rush to the Station, with the Sackville (Seagull Tavern) thrown in then moved to the Exchange in the late 80-90s.

Goldstone era: Hove Park Tavern or the pub with the micro brewery just down from Hove train station, think it was called the Hedgehog and Hogshead?

Withdean era: The Station or the Long Man of Wilmington

Amex era: Usually only drink at the ground nowadays
