The last couple of weeks I've read that many think FH's press conferences are boring. So, what kind of clever insights do you think he should offer before and after games, given it wouldn't be that clever to talk tactics or reveal who's injured or back from injury etc?

You're the gaffer, the stage is yours for 76 pre and post game pressers! What would you talk about?

No more boring than Potter or De Zerbi or whoever gets forced to sit there and give vague answers to questions about nothing.

I would be asking questions like "how's your dog doing?" or "what do you think about the architecture of Brentford?" rather than subjects that the manager can't/won't/shouldn't talk about. It would 100% be more interesting.

If people genuinely think that Fab’s press conferences are boring then they should cast their mind back to Potterball’s press conferences. Now, they REALLY were dull.

Houghton’s conferences were also unexciting.

However, I don’t know what people expect when you employ calculating managers like Potterball and Fab. By nature they are going to not let their guard down in pre-match press conferences, so why even tune into them?

In post-match conferences they have something to talk about, but guarded managers are still going to be guarded so that they don’t give insights to other opponents. It is what it is.

Pre match: FH could add in the press conference what times the best time to get to Bridge St or Mill Rd car parks.
Or on team tactics, he could ask can anyone play LB or RB.

Post match: FH could add was it 1 or 2 points lost.

The concept is boring, but the PL insists because of today’s saturation of everything. Surprised not a Netflix series yet on Matchday utilities. Sometimes it’s hard to recall we just turned up, watched and went home without the 24/7 coverage of what is still just a 90min game.

Post match was a few pints . . .then on Monday read the arsegas. By Tue it was all forgotten.

we'd learnt from it and moved on 😉
