Easy.

Influence/reward birth amongst those who have 2 or less kids, don't give handouts to people who have more.

Have one child, get some nice financial support to pay for it. 1 pound
Have two children get half the aid from the first child. 1.5 pounds
Have 3 children get no extra financial aid. 1.5 pounds

It's not only a problem here, it's a problem that needs to addressed worldwide, and perhaps the big bad commies in China were ahead of the time. Supermarket chains and countries are buying land in Africa for them to support their stores and countries, and the people who live in the countries get nothing. It's a disgrace.

In a national emergency a country must plan for the future and discriminate between people who are vital for continued sustainability from those who are not.

So the first option is to look at the top schools and I do not mean the ones who are producing graduates, I mean the schools who will go on to staff our hospitals, our offices, our factories. We need them, agreed?

So coupled with that, we have the failing schools, the schools producing the children destined for a lifetime on benefits and occupying places on the dole and prisons. Should they be treated equally?

God knows we have tried and we are failing. Britain needs serious change, setting up the drawbridge or removing races will not do us any good. All we need to do is remove the people who are not pulling their weight.
....sounds like a Nazi propaganda leaflet.

Limiting benefits to one child per person would seem a reasonable idea - and wouldn't involve the morally reprehensible and unacceptable course of having some sort of 'selection' process.

Should Sussex declare UDI and secede from the UK ? Population would be much less in the Kingdom or Republic of Sussex, and the Albion could enter the Champions League every season, with a place in the Europa Cup for the next three Sussex teams.

Well,it IS a daft post,isn't it?

Let's do it. :clap2: :clap2: :clap2:

We already have a flag and a national anthem. Mind you, who would be President/King/Head of State?

A population of 75 million means that more jobs have to be created and more houses built.

More jobs requires consumers to be spending more money.

Cutting benefits will reduce the amount of money being spent. Exactly the WRONG thing to do - unless you want to create more poverty.

By all means plan a society that will have 75 million people and widespread poverty. But first consider the possibility that something rather better can be achieved.

Why do we need a population of 75m in the first place, I have not heard that this is an objective from the Government? In fact all I hear from our political masters is that the UK's borders are under control and a new points based system is preventing unfettered migration. That position is surely incompatible with an increase to the current recorded population of nearly 15m?

One thing that is for sure though is an extra 15m will royally f*** any intentions we may have on reducing the UK's carbon footprint. For an extra 15m people in this country means an extra 15m consumers all wanting plasma TVs and BMWs.

If anyone thinks that saving pickled onion jars and yogurt pots is going to save the planet then they are severly mistaken, at the end of the day the world needs less consumers not more....................the childless are the true environmentalists. Tragic I know but essentially true.

To be fair this will be a relevant question in 50-100 years time when the population is growing and resources become ever more sparce.

Personally I'd sneak something into the water supplies that makes people infertile. The masses tend to get a bit pissed off when you try to eradicate them adolf stylee. Through the back door is the way to go

High up on the South Downs.
Restrict talent shows like the X Factor to male soprano/falsetto singers. This will popularise high-pitched choral music and encourage the medieval practice of castrating boys to preserve their pre-pubescent voices.
Thus cutting the birth rate.

I'd start by neutering all students. However we could do what the Chinese do and restrict the number of children people have have. We could return all of those who have a visa to work here home unless there was a very real need for them to be here. We could have all Chavs sterilised.
