Things are looking up with the previous set of good results.

I feel that he is organising a team of players who want to play for the club (according to his rules) and who want to play for each other. Those who may perhaps even be better talented individually, but who are not part of this, are being moved on.

Yes I believe there are good grounds to be optimistic in these early days

I am very optimistic about BHAFC for the first time in 4 years. WE ARE ON THE UP AND UP.

US, your break from NSC seems to have worked wonders! Question is, which is the real you, the grumpy miserable git of yore, or the positive shiny new version? Should we be waiting for you to revert?

Pre-season is going to be a good time. Having seen the players Poyet has brought in when he does splash the cash would expect to get some very good players in. He has even made Elphick pass the ball which can only be a good thing

This would have been our second season in the championship if we stuck by dean wilkins

And US's return to NSC seems to have coincided with a good week of results. Are the two connected?

I would say will still need 3 key new additions to add to the good work currently being done.

4,5 or 6 if we cant tie Lue Lua, Painter and Calderon down to deals.

We definately need a new keeper. FDM will be another year older and another year more injury prone. Another quality centre half and anotehr quality striker as its pretty obvious Forster will be off...

You know, im not so sure that there will be that many changes .maybe one or two additions. But i think we now have a squad that really are believing in themselves.. and thats good management.
Also, if Gus needs the money , i think Tony Bloom will deliver.. he, and us want to be in the Championship,as we walk out into our new, magnificent stadium.

I think there will be a few additions but money may be spent keeping our players with improved contracts, Dicker, Bennett, Murray etc.. as opposed to buying wholesale

Where are the "clear out all the deadwood and start again" brigade? They always make me laugh.

When will we next see them? Next time we lose.
