@talkSPORTDrive: Gus Poyet. Doing ok. Big budget. But actually I think Brighton are underperforming given their budget and fanbase. Chelsea? Really?

Hang ON, this thread was CREATED by Ernest YET there isn't an ABUNDANCE of words in capitals THROUGHOUT. What is GOING on?
You have just witnessed Ernest being serious.

Someone else is in second place..never heard of him before..i'll keep an eye out for him in future

Not as good as people think. I have seen the "Someone else out" threads at his previous clubs when the going got tough.

Thread title is misleading.
From that article, he never says he wants out.

Where does this "big budget" idea come from? There are ten clubs in the division receiving parachute and three with foreign owners splashing the cash. Yes, we have more money to spend than some of the teams on the bottom and we're not broke but we're scarcely a big budget team. It was only few weeks ago that we had to ship a striker out to bring in a centre back on loan.

Is it because we have a new stadium or because we're from the south and everyone's rich down here, don't you know?

but Reading isnt any closer to where Poyet lives, and he'd have to commute through Heathrow section, one of the worse traffic jams. basically fact a) Gus would like to manage a London club (ie Chelsea or Tottenham) which is well known, is merged with fact b) Reading have need of a manager, to arrive at c) Gus moves to Reading because its close to London. and this chap gets paid?

I'd be quite happy for him to go, i can't see him being able to take this club much further.

Gus to Reading, Adkins or Di Matteo at the Amex. Thank you very much and i doubt many would complain about that.

If Gus goes, let's hope Tony moves fast and gets Di Matteo in over the International break.

To be fair, he HAS spent quite a bit even by today's standards.

Its Ernest and ENREST - He's like a Jekyl and Hyde type being (almost put 'person')

On the one hand he can write rational, insightful comments and on the other hand he can be a complete bellend.

Although the thread title is misleading, you have stumbled upon one of Ernest's moments of apparent clarity.

Poyet can go the club and players are bigger than him..............he has been a very lucky man to join us when he did and have the financial backing of Tony Bloom.......
