Somewhere near Reading...
Nobody in the prem wants a manager with just a league 1 championship under their belt, people need a reality check as its clear he is not being approached by anyone end of.

Yes, at the moment he is not ready to manage at the highest level. He is still young and is still learning. He needs a few more really good seasons with us (get us promoted and making us consistent) before he will really start to interest the big clubs, for whom he will want to leave.

Because he is on holiday and the only people linking him are press?

He did speak to the press last week though and said nothing has changed and he is focussed on Brighton for next season. Is that not enough?
I'd rather he'd just go so we can all move on with our lives.

Best chance of landing Spurs/Chelsea is doing a Rodgers; get us to the Prem and keep us there for a year.

I'm just dog tired of this Poyet to Birmingham saga.

Well Poyet would be insane to go to Birmingham at this point - with their owner up in court and a transfer embargo until they file their dodgy accounts - as would any currently in-work manager from the top two divisions. Someone currently out of work will get that one - guessing Lee Clark.

pleased for Hughton who is a good manager and a genuinely nice bloke
Birmingham will go for an out of contract manager rather than pay compo
