Yes Van Gaal said something similar didn't he. The large number of games being played while people are not working is only outrageous if you don't care about the fans
I suggest you do some research on football matches as for one..The ball is only in play for about 70 mins and two the average player only runs about 8 bloody miles a match whoopyyyyyy dooooooo. They are athletes, but even tennis players don't generally play a match every day in a Grand Slam. Same as Mo Farah doesn't tend to run the 10,000 metres twice on the same day. Massive difference between playing a high intensity football match covering 10 kilometres a match twice in 48 hours and playing 2 matches in the same amount of time ambling along the pitch for the Dog and Duck in the Peacehaven and District Pub League Division 7.
You seem like a an obsessed man with gus as you've made him out to be awsome for us and he was far from that pal...sideways football with very few goals and so on.
How is it one of the greatest mistakes?
The cretin did nothing but feed his ego and disrespect the club, yes our football club that is bigger than any manager and any BHA fan must be stupid to not realise this...Did you want the club to beg him to stay and to give him £30 million to spend?
FFS the man is a bloody **** and I never liked him throughout his stay here regardless of results...If he wasn't our manager most would've seen poyet as a complete utter prick under another club.
Just goes to show how gulliable fans are in football when you'd still have a manager back even after he slates your beloved club.
His football was bloody dire most of the time and many get blinded by half a dozen great performances in which most we never even won.OBVIOUSLY the club should have done more to keep him.
Gus Poyet had built a team, a philosophy and it ****ing worked brilliantly - it was a winning formula. The Premier League was an inevitability. We should have given him the bigger budget he wanted while we weren't burdened by FFP and we would more than likely be in the Premier League already, filling our 30,000 seater stadium, like Southampton.
Monumental mistake, monumental. Look at where we are now, just a year and a bit later.

Where's this 48hrs rubbish come from?
They played on the 21st and 26th...Am I missing something?
You realise 8 miles is more than 10km, right?
Nonsense....I've rarely slated managers in the way of poyet...We all have a moan naturally, but gus really is a diffrent level to most and I can't stand him.Come off it, you've slated every single manager we've ever had. It's your moda operandi.

I'm sure even those who dislike Gus will agree that this post is utterly clueless.
Have you really forgotten how he took League One relegation fodder and made them record breaking Champions the following season? Beating a very strong Southampton side to it, who had a far bigger budget. When we were singing "we're ****ing brilliant" we ****ing meant it!
You're not in a position to accuse me of being a wind up merchant....It's my opinion wether you like it or not.Don't waste your time with the wind up merchant.
Yeah why?
Pointing out that I can run 8 miles everyday no probs and im no professional athlete
It was league 1 pal and we had a reasonable budget and the feel good factor before moving to the amex...Yes we won league one and it was a good season, but singing those songs was a league 1 thing and it never returned because we was boring after that.I'm sure even those who dislike Gus will agree that this post is utterly clueless.

I wasn't quoting about that 10km...Was basically giving my stats on milage and how many games in a short space of time.Because you were quoting someone who claimed the average distance was 10km and said it was 8miles as if you were suggesting they were overstating how much they run on average.

The 2nd half of the Tottenham-Manchester United match today was not a great advert for playing 2 matches within 48 hours. Naturally though, Gus is trying to deflect attention away from a rather dismal home defeat in Sunderland's last match.
You need to complain to customer services. They want to walk a mile in some supporters' shoes. I turned up at the iPro stadium only to find that Albion didn't. A couple of weeks later a home game is played on a Boxing Day when there is very limited public transport when nothing at all was played on a perfectly sensible Saturday. Tomorrow I'm off to Craven Cottage after work when there is disruption on the London Underground. I'll be praying the Putney-Clapham Junction route remains okay or it could be a struggle getting to work in the morning. So far this season away games at Brum, Brentford, Ipswich, Watford, Spurs and Norwich have all had transport problems for me one way or another. Oh to be driven around in the luxury of a Kingsferry Executive coach.
