Stories with absolutely no quotes whatsoever, never strike me as being especially accurate. What about that story suggests it's anything other than a journo just sitting at his desk, licking the end of his pencil and coming up with a possible manager / club combination? The story even tries to hedge it's bets by naming multiple clubs.
The second to last paragraph of that link is incorrect anyway as Poyet had already saved us from relegation in 2010 when Swansea were looking for a new manager in the close season, not that I remember any stories of Swansea wanting him anyway.
