Sorry - I mean THEIR mental.
my money would be on Glenn Hoddle... speculation i Know but I heard last year that he would be very interested in the position should Gus move on, wether he would get it of course is another matter
Reading, on the other hand, have bucketfulls of parachute cash if they are relegated, as is obviously likely.
Need more of a reason than he tries to get his teams to pass
Needs to know how to be successful.... Robinson doesn't.
They already have a training ground (I think anyway) and will have a bucket load of cash + rich owner when they come down. If he can (somehow) keep them up his stock will rise a lot as well

What was it he said after the Palace match, something about that would be a good game to leave on or something like that.
Out of the all the rumours I have seen over the last few years, it has never got to this stage.

If Gus gets Brighton promoted, he will be a serious contender for some seriously big jobs.
If he goes to Reading, he is likely to be relegated, and further away from one of the big jobs than he is now.
It would truly be a ludicrous move on his part. I think I can honestly say this with impartiality and I think most of football will take the same view.
He's 32. he will learn
"This was a day to stop time and stay here forever. I would like it to be the last game of the season, or a last at a club, or the last of your career."
Oh gawd.
