Villa is a graveyard for managers with aspirations and Norwich is limited whereas the Sky is the limit at the Amex

How does a wind-up first time post from someone who is clearly a fan of either Palace or Norwich get to three pages?

...................oh yeah. It's prats like me taking the time to reply to it

It's common knowledge that Villa are skint. If it's too expensive for Norwich to get Gus, how on earth are Villa going to afford to get Lambert?

It's not like the 3 pages are taking the OP seriously though. There's no footy on the telly box, no transfers, so there's room to talk more shit than normal.

Now I'm a realist who thinks Poyet will be off at the first sniff of a Villa/West Brom type job offer but the chances of him going to Norwich are ZERO.

The best they are going to be aiming for next season is 17th place. I FIRMLY expect them to be in a relegation scrap all season long!

I don't see the West Brom job being any different to Norwich really.

I think Gus would be very tempted if Norwich came knocking - but not a nailed on deal what with Malky Mackay already having strong links with Norwich.

Not even you or I would get out of bed to manage small-time provincial club Norwich City. How can you even think that Gustavo Poyet would lower his sights and go there?

A mug takes over a Club at the peak of their trajectory. Gus is no mug.

Gus will only leave for something special? Gus is miles away from having the full package, this club is way bigger than gus so couldn't give a shite if he left as managers never stay long anyway:)

West Brom have been in the top division for 5 of the last seven seasons. They have a very decent squad. Quality consistent support. Decent stadium. A healthy bank balance and proven ability to grow at a sustainable rate.

Norwich have been very average for eight of the last ten years and have way overacheived this season. Id say they are five quality players off being a solid prem team without the funds to bring them in.

No comparison.

Still Somewhere in Sussex!
Here's something else to ponder!

If, and of course it's a very big if, Gus should go elsewhere, i.e. the Premiership, would he take any players with him??

Vicente would be my guess at one player that could go :annoyed:
