[Misc] Poverty just now

Silly old bat
That is the master plan, hundreds of years of struggle for the emancipation of working men and women lost in a generation by media trivialisation of politics, by the narrative that "they are all the same" by denigrating decent politicians and smearing the left with accusations of extremism and antisemitism knowing damn well that if the working class don't vote the blue rinse Brigade will be out in force to keep the tories in.
Now trying to introduce ID for voting which is fine for older people with bus passes accepted, but youngsters have got to have passports or driving licences.
Only one person was prosecuted for voter fraud, so another sledgehammer to crack a nut, and slew votes in favour of the Tories. With that and boundary changes, they don’t intend to give up power easily.

I'm not defending the Tory's but seriously you'd advocate 'ploughing Tory's and their voters into a ditch'? Seriously? Inflicting likely physical harm to someone who represents and / or votes Conservative?
It’s a turn of phrase. I use it a lot about the Tory’s and don’t plan on stopping anytime soon so if it offends you I suggest you put me on ignore, I don’t hide my hatred of Tory’s or my disdain for the morons that vote for them.

Seeing as you think only men attend the Amex and people who want to buy healthy food are not real men, I shan’t be taking too much notice of your opinions.

I’m not sure which previously banned user you are but I look forward to you giving yourself away at some point.

👍

Don't think its a case of trying, they are doing it

This is voter suppression depriving young people of those in poorer socio economic groups a vote. The Tories know exactly what they are doing and know that similar tactics work for the Republicans

Stay in power at ALL costs is their primary objective

The dull part of the south coast
Unfortunately, this government sees food banks and charities as the solution to what they have caused.

Awful situation where the most vulnerable are at the mercy of those benefitting from the wealth distribution - we are heading back to the 1800's
A slight exaggeration on your part. Historically conditions have always been worse in the past, and the wealthy in previous times benefitted a lot more from the most vulnerable suffering. That’s not say that in our 21st century society the situation is awful for some and needs to be addressed.

It doesn't offend me in the least, it's a message board where people have the right to express views.

I didn't say 'only men should attend the amex' like you I used a 'turn of phrase' I think I said 'where men go to be men.' Sorry if that offended you, I suggest you put me on ignore.

Ah right so just because I'm not on here spitting vitriol about the Torys I'm a 'previously banned user' am I?

why not? never explained why service sector cannot employ more or provide better jobs than industry. just taken and accepted as an article of faith. according to world databank we have 2% less employed in industry than US.

The AMEX, where men go to be men.

Indeed. I never feel as butch or manly as when I’m striding up to the West Stand with my manbag casually slung over my left shoulder to met other men….and of course all the women who also go.

The arse end of Hangleton
Whilst waiting for any government to stop this madness, are there charities that can provide direct assistance exactly with this, without creaming off money for high admin costs?
Yes, but not many. Most food banks are run by mostly volunteers. Charites such as Lions and Rotary assist people in need and every penny they raise goes to doing so as they have no paid staff.

It's an interesting phrase, isn't it?

I am a man who goes to the football. I know other men who go to the football. Their idea of going to the football is doing a bunch of coke and being a bit lairy. My idea of going to the football is to have a few pints with my old man and then complain about the ref for 90 minutes.

Which of us are the 'men' ?

It's all quite confusing, possibly because 'where men to go to be men' is utter f***ing drivel.

Do women go to be women? My husband isn't any different at the Amex than he is at home? Is he not a man at home? :lolol:

My husband has very little interest in football, only checks Brighton results to see what mood I will be in. Saying that, he is going to the game with me tonight (he gets worried about me going to away games at night, not that he would admit it) So I am genuinely excited to see how manly he becomes tonight :)

I look forward to hearing how he came out the toilet wafting his hand saying 'I'd give that a few minutes if I was you' with a proud grin on his face :lolol:

Three and a bit weeks on NSC and you've managed to work out all these posters political views ?

Should we have a poll ? :lolol:
Targeting all the same posters that a certain ex-poster used to go for.
I can’t recall their name though. The one that accused everyone of being paedophiles.
Attracted back by the new format and bear pit style threads that have crept back onto the main board, no doubt.
