Vagabond, let me prick this bubble too. You are not intellectual. :ffsparr: Neither are you some sort of sage. You're not even an onion. I have and do engage civilly, mostly, I've simply pocked fun at you because you're so relentlessly daft banging on all the time in defence of the indefensible. You're unable to take differences of opinion or criticism of the club, players, managers, shop merchandise, anything and everything. I like your sense of irony mind, asking such a question after putting yourself above childish just a few words before. Sounds like I hit your sore spot. The lady doth flounce a lot :flounce:

And how many times have you been banned?

Still rate Potter and his team but limitations in the squad are becoming clearer; still light years ahead of CH football.

At this point we need to 'keep the faith' as the players need to show some fight and grind out a couple of results over the next two games. However, if we don't then who knows.

I'll play...how many times have you been? Also, where can I check you're not lying? Furthermore, what's the point we're trying to make here and why should we care/what difference does it make? Is there a record to break? Who's the holder?! Unlikely to be you I know, because we already established you're a serial loser (apologist, deluded...and easily offended I might add). Anyway, if you can wrap all your answers up in less than 5000 words that would be good. Over to you :)

Another response that ignores the fact that we have never been in the drop zone under Potter. If results is all that matters as some seem to believe...disregarding the youth development plan, disregarding the style of possession football which is enjoyable to watch, then his record thus far is good enough as we have never been in the drop zone

Each season is different, and we're all trying to predict and project THIS season. Based on, as I've said, such a run of poor home form and more draws than wins away from, isn't that relegation form? Or are ALL the television channels, media and sizeable proportion of the fan base pointing out we don't get enough points, inc. me, all to be dismissed because we weren't in the relegation zone last season (it was so comfortable mind, I myself sat with a cigar from Aug to May such was our unquestionable superiority over all the other teams just above the trap door. :smokin: Never doubted it for a moment, but perhaps we should read up on Icarus?)

General argument on 606 tonight is that we (BHA supporters) can take poor results better (than under CH) if the entertainment is decent.

I think they have a point although people like the OP of this thread would disagree.

This season we haven't lost to any side outside the top 8. Picked up a win against Villa where we didn't last season, dominated against Newcastle and picked up a big win and drew with the champions.

Off the back of a game against Leicester, where we were admittedly poor, who have bagged 5 against Man City, the attitude on here has reached peak Hyypia. Perspective is important.

If we are going to quote pundits we are getting rave reviews for our brand of football. We spent only 900k in the summer, this isn't going to be a year we can suddenly increase our expectations.

Yes we need to pick up more points, and games this week against teams around us will determine our season much more than a loss to a side chasing the Champions League.

I have faith in Potter and I believe in the ethos and direction of the club.

All of THIS!

If we lose our next 2 then we can start talking about a poor start to the season.

Some of us will still back the manager, some will start believing we need to start looking at other options.
But believing it's time to go now?
Very odd thinking IMO.

Potter isn’t going to walk when he’s got that lengthy contract to keep him employed for a while yet.

Also Bloom isn’t going to give him the elbow for the same reason; that lengthy contract! Because it would be expensive to pay off and also an admission he’d got it wrong when he offered that contract.

Based on this it looks like we’ve got Potter for a while yet, at the very least until the end of this season I’d say. Potter must have been enjoying having no fans at the Amex as it meant he had a heck of an easier ride with no BooBoys in the crowd.

I expect Potter to walk this week.

No wins at home in a year is unacceptable and if he doesn't do the right thing and walk, i think he'll be pushed.

Bloom clearly wants to see progress, and this is not progress.

8 days on and Potter’s still clinging on to his lucrative salary and no doubt top of the range company car.

Has he no shame.

Just wait, when our luck turns, and it will turn, we will be clear of the drop zone with no real threat of relegation.

Knee-jerker’s like you (jerks for short) want instant success. It doesn’t work like that.

Patience is key here, who knows, in five years time, I hope we will be able to keep hold of Potter!
Jerks, like you will have consumed so much humble pie, you’ll be the humblest humbler in all of humbletown!
