Give your head a shake. On the whole we play entertaining, attacking football under Potter - that's why Bloom bought him in. Do you think Hughton would have played three up top against Liverpool last week?
No, I don't think he would - but tbf I think our points total would be about the same.

We're getting results without putting 10 men behind the ball.
Yes, but not really often enough - and that is rapidly becoming a problem. Needs something to be done to halt the slide into loss of confidence (and no, I don't know what, but then again my income is not comparable to the upper echelons of the football industry!).

I wonder what the Southampton equivalent to NSC was like just over a year ago when they got smashed 9-0 at home to Leicester???
I am not sure Saints' results had been garbage for a year before that.

I don't think it's a joke to want Potter out (results speak for themselves) but you're kidding yourself if you think he'll be sacked. We know he was appointed to make us easier on the eye and that's what he's done in the main.

Not sure it's entirely on the manager.

Think it's the recruitment side of things that's contributing to what's going on as well.

There's individual players than shine but collectively as a squad it's just not a good one.

Zero consistent forwards.

Biss the only consistent stand out in midfield.

Too many mistake made at the back and a keeper that is just passable.
Think this is an interesting outlook. It's the Ashworth regime now. Well, him and Barber, who is currently working the PR budget on it being a good thing Lallana is out for 2 weeks because it could have been worse after we'd rushed back the biggest sicknote in the division

We've had some incredibly bad luck, not Potters fault.

I expect Potter to walk this week.

No wins at home in a year is unacceptable and if he doesn't do the right thing and walk, i think he'll be pushed.

Bloom clearly wants to see progress, and this is not progress.

Potter can't put the ball in the net for them and that's the main thing missing at the moment.

Please can a Mod correct the missing apostrophe in this thread title? It's embarrassing.

:lolol:

I’d file this one under “unlikely”.

How many wins at home since he been here however you look at it ,it’s poor
At least under his Hughton we could defend
Other than draws at home what results are we getting ?

Wins and points on the road.

Everyone agrees that we need to be winning more home games, but sacking potter (or him walking) isn't the solution.
