Brighton boss Graham Potter, speaking to BBC Sport: "Frustrated, certainly the second half.

"Credit to West Brom I think they responded well. They played better in the second half and pushed us back and they deserved their equaliser. We have to learn from that.

"We created some good chances in the first half and with a bit more luck we could have had a bigger lead than 1-0.

"We have to analyse why we were not so good in the second half, why our performance dipped a bit but now we have to give credit for the opposition for raising their performance.

"We have had some good performances this season. There is more to do, we have to improve but something to learn from and build from."

Getting as predictable as Chris Hughton saying these are a good side .

Completely reasonable comments.

But as said already this is all just PR. it’s what’s said behind closed doors that is the more telling.

...." with a bit more luck "....is complete and utter bullshit. It was poor finishing. Maupay is struggling and Solly couldn't hit a barn door at three paces. These two, in particular, have missed too many clear chances already this season to warrant another start v Tottenham.

" We have had some good performances this season "......answer = one....Newcastle away. Chelsea and United were very ordinary and our play was nowhere near tight enough to see out a result. We were well beaten at Everton and were ordinary ourselves. We overplayed time and time again at Palace, who were there for the taking and enough said about tonight. Potter is setting the benchmark too low for this side. We are far too loose in all our play and at the moment, this attractive football is not getting results.

Waffle.

Would feel so much more respect if he got angry about the performance second half and said it simply wasnt good enough like Mourinho might

What have we learnt so far? We've had plenty learning opportunities so far this season but failed to put it into practice. Same old tosh

Seem to be learning the same shit every week but nothing changes. Potter is a bit green isnt he, but at least hes showing his green credentials by recycling the same defeatist speech every week.

Laminate Graham and save the rain forests

Any match with March starting you just know we are not going to win.
Really cannot see the point in that player. Bang Championship average
