[Albion] Potter- what’s he up to?

I can see Potter going to Palace although I think West Ham are still the most likely team to get him. We all know a lot of other teams want to be Brighton! He was getting good reviews when he was here and I believe Spurs had been in for him. People were talking about us even before Roberto rocked up and took us to another level. He will be on plenty of clubs radar. Doubt if it will happen before the summer though. Turning up to watch Arse v Pal and taking the Palace job next week wouldn’t go down well with his peers.

Never got the anti-Potter sentiment. Some on here have short memories. Potter completely transformed the way we played after Hughton very nearly got us relegated playing dire, ultra defensive football, which was awful to watch and didn't work. By the time Potter left (for a bigger club ), we were 4th, scoring for fun, and playing outstanding football. He was he that built that up - something which De Zerbi has benefitted from and taken even further. I really hope he doesn't go to Palace. He's exactly what they need and if it happens, he'll do very well there.

Potter was good for us.... eventually.

Roberto was good for us immediately. Mr. Bloom was very patient with Potter.
Other clubs will not give him 2 shit seasons to finally get it right.

Selective memory of Hughton. The dire ultra defensive football was to avoid relegation after trying to play more open and attacking without the players to do it pushed us toward relegation. Also forgets the level of investment Potter got and still had us falling toward the relegation zone until the covid pause.

No , I don't have a selective memory. Yes he went quickly but unfortunately successful Albion managers will always be attractive to other, bigger clubs in the football food chain. So carry on being bitter about his departure if you like ( a waste of time if you ask me) but it doesn't alter the fact that Potter did a great job for us.
