Has anyone actually watched a game of a team he was managing? There’s an awful lot of hot air being spouted on internet stats with no visual knowledge that I am aware of.

Where does it say that his teams play like the Albion or City?

Ask Andy 1980, he made the comparison.

Im still surprised none of these clubs have as yet gone for Nuno. In his 4 seasons at Wolves he achieved Champ promotion, consecutive 7th place Prem finishes, and then 13th in his final season when missing his star striker. Pretty decent.

Interesting to look at the odds on managers at present;
Favre is odds on to Palace, but has been for a while. Wonder why it’s taken so long to get over the line? Work permit possibly but surely this is a formality?
Spurs; Potter odds fading marginally whereas Nuno and Gerrard’s odds shortening. Spurs don’t seem interested at all in Favre, when they’ve approached many others. Is it because they know it’s a done deal to Palace? Will there be another twist or two?

Waiting for work permit to come through apparently.

He comes with a lot of baggage.

I think you dodged a bullet with Nuno.

It will be interesting where he ends up.
Close ties with Super Agent Jorge Mendes, who has been in the news lately with his other managers.

Palace were way, WAY beneath him. Was never a fit.

With a win rate of 49% in nearly 800 league matches, and 27 years managing, shouldn’t you be referring to Potter as a Favresque type manager ?

Yep - I like this Farve guy - huge coup for 2010FC this one :clap2:

It appears that you have come to the right place to discuss this man Favre.

Indeed, so many things for our welcome guest to discuss.

What are things that most impress him about this guy? What has made him the apple of Se’s eye?

How much does Se really love him already?

He is clearly all over Favre and we’re all ears.

Let’s hear why he is the best fit for Palace!

I'm offended, and if I'm offended an offence has been committed by definition. Boo. BOO!!

Will they be sitting in the new stand, in August, or looking at it from one of the others?

Work due to start late 2018.

There's going to be some egg on faces shortly.

I fear we're all jumping to the wrong conclusion after seeing the statement that Favre wants a complete break from top-flight football.

Because surely that means he IS taking the Palace job?
