I know what you’re saying, we were very fortunate but it wasn’t because Vardy was running us ragged that first half hour, the whole Leicester team were just bossing it. They are a better team than us simple as that, it’s stupid to suggest we lost because we played 3-5-2 IMO.

I did think tactically we got it wrong. Their front 3 did so much damage, their full backs didn't need to push up that much so they managed to pen us back while keeping a solid back 4 in place. Our lack of chances I think for the first time this season to be fair, showed us carrying very little threat while being a bit too open and susceptible. Yeah, they got us on the break in the end, but we got suckered into that I thought because we weren't getting any change out of them, so we started to overplay.

Unless Dunk is there, or Bernardo is back, not sure I'd revisit 3 at the back again.

But I thought he used the worst tactic you could ever implement against Jamie Vardy - three at the back with wing backs. I was amazed that that was what he was planning as soon as I saw the team sheet. What that gives a striker like Vardy is space. The wing backs push forward, and the wider two of the three at the back inevitably push out a bit to cover more space. That creates gaps around them, and is inevitably a recipe for disaster against Vardy.

I lost count of the number of times he got in those gaps, and he really stuck it to the Brighton fans who were giving him stick all afternoon. I was at the game, and the abuse that rained down from the stands on the final whistle was deafening. On this evidence, Potter do well to still be in this job beyond the turn of the year. Shambolic."

It wasn't a great set up for Leicester Yes, but we all make mistakes. Potter is still learning in the Prem and I'm confident he'll see us ok this season.

Potter had a plan, We succeeded in keeping it 0-0 up to Half Time.. We then stormed at Leicester for the first 10 minutes of the second half and if we had scored during this period I think we would have got a draw.

Also our senior players need to realise you don't give the ball away when your team push up to try and score a goal when a opposing team is super quick on the break. I was also disappointed that we had no shots on goal.

The two Aussies where our best players and our Solly has forgotten how to beat a player.

As for Vardy abuse everyone around me was saying what a great player he is for his age and never heard any boos for him. The boos at the end were at for the Officials/VAR over the penalty fiasco.

Bar the abuse and the being in a job thing i happen to agree. we were ok first half as it was 5 at the back, so no space. second half montoya and march went further up the field and then there were loads of counters.

Potter doesn't do symmetrical does he so that we have a nice mirrored formation that is easy to see and understand. I thought it was a 3 that fairly seemlessly turned into a 4 because Montoya is minded to drop into a right back from wing back and Burn can give width into a LB role allowing March to be more of a wing-back winger. I thought they definitely started off in a 3 though, but with Barnes and Perez playing so wide, it often did get forced into a 4. I thought Leicester could have committed their fullbacks forward more than they did allowing Perez / Barnes to cut inside, but they seemed reluctant to do that.

I agree with him. For 2 weeks has known there team and how they would play. They would look to break when we lost ball when attacking and at set plays. What did we do to counter this. Nothing. Certainly at set plays 2 mid fielders should have been sitting deeper to stop quick break. As they could have scored 3/4 times from breaks Potter had no ideas.

I like GP’s bravery although I thought he got his tactics wrong in the last two matches. Utd away was definitely an extra man in midfield Mooy would HAVE been perfect. Saturday we should HAVE looked to play on the break and need Gross from kick off. Oh well to late now.
