Covid regulations only work if they are policed and enforced. I think the fact that the club was intending to check covid passes for 20% of attendees suggests that they are only paying lip service. But no different to the trains, buses and shops where, despite the current rules, nobody is really arsed if you comply or not.

The club has never sorted out the train issues; there has always been too many fans for the trains that get put on for matchdays. We have always been crammed in like sardines. Covid now exposes the dangers of doing so particularly where mask wearing is not being enforced.

Not particularly weird.

Teams operating on a bottom 6 budget usually dont last in the PL for five years. Sean Dyche have a win rate similar to that one and it is for the same reason: he is keeping a bottom side from getting relegated meaning he doesnt get sacked since there's really no valid reason to expect more than avoiding relegation.
