Rubbish. I challenge you to find a post that is happy that his mental health is suffering or that anyone is okay with his family being threatened. People here are happy that his football career seems to be imploding. It is very amusing and satisfying.

There's literally a comment on this thread saying 'what did he expect' ... as though it's acceptable to expect that for just taking a job in football! I'm glad you find it all amusing and that you are satisfied!

The comment below from @GT49er 'no excuses available' ... is where I am on this!

Death threats are unacceptable, end of. No excuses available. My disgust of Chelsea's toxic fans just keeps on growing.

Brighton factually.....
Most if not all the death threats are probably from armchair fans from afar looking at some of the crap they post on shitter and YouTube.
Yep, and probably inflamed emotions after listening to Jamie O'Haras rant after the interview and defeat at home to Southampton.

He will probably be on the radio in the next few days, saying he thinks it's deplorable, and not realising he was fanning the flames calling the interview by Potter after the game a disgrace and he should walk. Yes his job is too sensationalise things, but he is part of the problem.

What are you talking about? You are being very disingenuous for some reason.

The quote in context is this:

'When he was here he started crying over a bit of booing because we hadn’t scored for ages and forgot what a win was! What did he expect when he took his £60m contract. that being said death threats and threats to his family are completely out of order and typical of the Chelsea...'

The 'what did he expect' comment was regarding all the media scrutiny and overreaction with the Chelsea fans. It immediately condemns the threats as it should. Stop trying to link enjoyment at Potter's football problems with being happy that he is mentally suffering or that his family are being threatened. It is not the same thing!

Completely agree, however, due to the manner of his departure, not wasting my time caring. he's kind of reaping what he sewed, what kind of ride did he expect ?

Reading the quote from him in the Indie, "Potter said he had been targeted by an anonymous account in the wake of the team’s recent poor form," - Sounds as though it could be just one person. So - should be relatively easy to track them down you'd hope.

I hope for Potter's sake his wife and family were fully supportive of his decision to take him and all of his staff to Chelsea.. If they weren't then the situation for him now will be just intolerable.

None of any of this surprises me, including the death threats.

It becomes more understanding depending on the job, the impact of the job, how badly the job is done, and whether is was done badly nefariously. Boris Johnson and his fraudulent friends killed many and stole from the nation to line their bulging pockets It is understandable in those circumstances for some to descend to the level of death threats.

But due to your football team losing? Wow
No, death threats NEVER acceptable

Simon Jordon talks a bit of sense...

For ex Palace scum Simon Jordon talks a lot of sense, I was thinking exactly the point he made about being in the second division not long ago.

Loved the point from Martin O'Neill too that players hardly understand formations, if that's true at Chelsea then Potter is probably confusing them even further.

I think we all knew that subliminally anyway, I mean we all see every manager shouting or pointing to players to be in a certain position as they seem to have forgotten instructions given to them at the most 45minutes previously :ROFLMAO:

Death threats against his family. I don’t care what he’s done or what’s he has said he doesn’t deserve that. He’s a good guy, despite what some of our fans think, and that level of abuse is totally out of order .
Agree, absolutely disgusting. As much as I find Chelsea’s results funny and want it all to go pear shape, there is no way he or his family should be getting death threats.

Oh do f*** off you sanctimonious bore, and when you have f***ed off, why don't you keep f***ing off and f*** off some more, and take your moral outrage and your f***ing exclamation marks with you. Absolute fucktard.
:lolol::amex:
Hmm, what's the betting you would never actually say that to someone face to face but through the internet you are such a great warrior... pathetic.
