Moyes had a clause in his contract which meant that if they failed to qualify for the Champions League in the first year in which he was in charge they could sack him and only pay up 12 months salary. They lost a match on a Sunday which meant they would not be in the top four and sacked him within 24 hours.Didn't Moyes get a similar length contract at Manchester United? In fact, I think they might still be paying him now

Colwill had to assess where he's most likely to get game time. Here he's playing and playing well.
Chelsea offered Lamptey a new deal.....
He seemed happy enough to be at Stamford Bridge in the directors box with Boehly & co, and allegedly met up with Potter after as well. Be great if he doesn’t but I suspect Chelsea have big plans for him
