Anyone else had a thought that Potter and Caicedo should be tied up to longer contracts at the earliest opportunity. The big guns gonna come sniffing for either one sometime soon surely.

Yes but all that does is give TB more wonga, nowt wrong with that but if the big offers come in Caicedo will be gone, not quite so sure about GP as things stand though

Need a replacement for Caicedo long before we can even think about selling him.

I think if there’s anything we’ve learned over the last 5 seasons, trust Tony. He’s a brilliant businessman and will have all this planned!

I've got a wild idea that they are training up Bruno to be Potter's successor - even as his first job.

But first a new 5 year contract for Potter would be excellent so fingers crossed it could happen.

Caucedo is reported to be on about 3.5K per week, which I’m sure is very innacurate (as is the reported 90K per week for Lallana from the same site). Either way, I’m sure his wage is still comparatively modest and that there’s scope for an improved contract within our wage structure.

It’s not a rhetorical question but how many games has Cac played for the first team now

I don’t think Potter will be looking at a contract extension just yet.

9 league games: W6, D2, L1.

Outstanding considering that all but one (Leeds away) have been against top-half teams as far as 21/22 league table is concerned.

Bruno, armed with a 5000 page Potter playbook (American football style) containing every possible match scenario and tactic to deploy against it, sections on motivation, team bonding, including ballet recitals, am dram productions et al, would just about make GP’s departure bearable, possibly.

He can’t leave now. I think I love him

No hurry really... Caicedo got a contract until 2025, by then he won't be anywhere near Brighton unless things go tits up for him.

Graham also got a contract until 2025... no hurry there either. Don't think it is something he even thinks about... the guy doesn't even have an agent, money is hardly a priority.

I think it's likely that Potter will leave this season. I am sure we have a plan in place for this an hope it involves Steve Cooper at Forest.

Unless they are relegated (not a great Cooper endorsement), I can’t see him favouring BHA over Forest!

Not sure about Caicedo either, not until he has played a lot more games anyway.
