A decent wage - I wonder if our first team wages are more than Chelsea's reserves wages?
Your other points all sound tempting, but I just don't see players rushing to the anti-football capital of the world!

I think you'd be surprised how many players would be tempted by the chance to work with Chris Hughton...

So: Out of the potential positions we may need filled, here's a list of suggestions

RB: Reece James (Chelsea), James Justin (luton), Jayden Bogle (FL Derby), James Tavernier (Rangers), Jonathan Schmid (Augsburg, we allegedly had scouts at their recent game), Kenny Lala (Strasbourg)

CM: Teji Savanier (Nimes, My favourite player in this list), Mickael Cuisance (Monchengladbach), Rade Krunic (Empoli), Arne Maier (Hertha BSC), Florian Grillistch (Hoffenheim), Sander Berge (Genk), Joan Jordan (Eibar), Dorukhan Tokoz (Besiktas), Will Vaulks (Rotherham), Maximila Eggestein (Werder Bremen),
Stevie Mallan (Hibs), John Mcginn (Villa), David Turnbull (Motherwell), Matias Rojas (Defensa y Justica), Jonas Hoffman (Monchengladbach), Pizzi (Benfica),Isaac Hayden (Newcastle), Maxime Lopez (Marseille), Phillip Billing/Aaron Mooy (Huddersfield)
Ruslan Malinovskyi (Genk), Phillip Klement (Paderborn), Louis Schaub (Koln), Tom Cairney (Fulham)

CAM: Ondrej Duda (Hertha BSC), Hans Vanaken (Brugge), Chiquinho (Moreirense), Mason Mount (Chelsea), Rodrigo De Paul (Udinese), Brais Mendez (Celta Vigo),Dani Olmo (Dinamo Zagreb), Bradley Dack (Blackburn)

LW/RW: Ademola Lookman (Everton), Jarrod Bowen (Hull), Daniel James (Swansea), Said Benrahma (Brentford), Edin Visca (Basaksehir), Jony (Alaves), Milot Rashica (Werder Bremen), Marcus Thuram (Guingamp), Manuel Lazzari (SPAL), Anastasios Chatzigiovanis (Pathinakos), Remi Oudin (Reims), Robert Skov (Copenhagen)

ST: Borja Iglesias (Espanyol), Oli McBurnie (Swansea), Mbwana Samatta (Genk), Pedro (Fluminese), Duvan Zapata (Sampadoria, on loan at Atlanta, very unlikley), Andrea Petagna (SPAL), Neal Maupay (Brentford), Domenico Berardi (Sassuolo, for the second striker role), Jean-Phillipe Mateta (Mainz), Che Adams (Birmingham), Baghdad Bounedjah (Al Sadd), Aleksandar Mitrovic (Fulham), Josef Martinez (Atalanta), Albian Ajeti (Basel), Fedor Chalov (CSKA), Willian Jose (Real Sociedad), Youssef En-Nesyri (Leganes), Leonardo Pavoletti (Cagliari)

Probably some I'm forgetting. Will need to spend 60 million in the summer for sure. I know all these names because I'm a bit of a football stat/scout nerd, but no doubt most of these will fall into the 'Never heard of' category, so i'll be disappointed if we don't sign at least one player on this list (which shouldn't be too hard as I've listed probably half the players in Europe and some from the rest of the world)

A couple of squad players with several years PL experience. Can't be bothered to research who is available.

lets face it , it will be NONE OF THE ABOVE...Who had heard of Florine Andone before we got him? not me..it will undoubtedly be someone we have not heard of (unless you are a heavy FPL player ) Also anyone already in the PL or championship for that matter probably wont sign for us after this years performances.

Loads of people were talking about Andone, even before Burnley were after him.

Ignoring superstars and fading stars. Championship punts?

Bradley Dack - gets good press, stepped up from L1 no prob's
Nick Powell - bit of a sick note otherwise very useful
Tom Lawrence - (assumes Derby stay down) doesn't come with the Grealish price tag

Good shouts. I really thought about adding Dack to the list as well but all depends on the macallister guy and whether he goes back out on loan

You are right to pick out Savanier. He has been immense in his first season in Ligue-1 - top of the assist league playing for Nîmes. Wouldn't cost the earth.

Have liked the look of Benjamin André for Rennes as well. Hard as nails CM with an eye for a goal.

Do you really think Reece James is merely "surplus to [Chelsea] requirements" instead of actually an incredible 18 year old prospect ? ???

No I don’t, I just don’t think the next big thing super star is going to come to Brighton from Chelsea. Why would he...?

I love this club, but come on, we need to establish ourselves first!

Lookman from Everton

This , but i would take a punt on the two Coventry forwards with pace and flair Bakayoko and Jordy Hiwula . Will come cheap relative the the sums being paid elsewhere and no worse than the punts we take with from abroad .

Yes I can just see countless Premier League stars queuing up to be told they aren’t allowed to attack or shoot.

I reckon if we went for a winger we'd go for someone younger than Babel and spend a bit. Surely his pace is on the decline and that's what we need on the wings now.

Yeah Savanier would be a great option as he would be cheap and statistically whoscored rank him as the 3rd best player in Europe this season. I remember Andre from a couple of seasons ago, he had a really good year, I have some relatives who live near rennes so I've been to a couple of their games & liked Andre when I saw him, also another one of their lads called Bourigeaud, who scored a stunner vs Arsenal recently. Andre strikes me as very defensivley minded, though as you say he's capable of hitting one from range. IF stephens left he's another one to perhaps consider as a replacement. Definitely hope we sign Savanier though, would add so much to our midfield and isn't being linked with any big clubs

Out of all of that OP, it's the idea of Cahill coming down here as 3rd choice centre back that I like most.

You did well to avoid the temptation to add the name of a certain Fulham striker though

Why would Cahill come here as possible 3rd choice when he could stay at Chelsea to do that or go to Arsenal as first choice.

I think when you look at our current team there's a glaring omission. Just have to look at the impact that Ali J and Percy Tau had on our social media streams to recognise that we're missing an Asian player to help us push on and improve the clubs amount of instragam likes. Someone like Ritsu Doan from Groningen may help fill this void considering we're find of getting players from the Eredivisie.

Don't worry about it! Some people obviously have too much time on their hands.
