It should be the unwritten rule that if a politician cannot give a straight answer to a straight question when being interviewed, that he or she is then banned from all media coverage until the end of time.
I'm absolutely f*cking sick of the idiots being asked a direct question, then answering a completely different one they just made up in their heads which suits them. What's the point of even having them speaking to you if you're an interviewer..
I'd like to gently remove their microphone, smile at them with a thousand yard stare on my face, then strangle them with the cord. Utter cockwombles.
