And Yorkie, Jevs - the image programme is anything like paint or paint shop pro. I think all Windows computers have Microsoft Paint installed on them, if you open that and click paste the picture of your screen should appear. Save that then you are good to go.

But once youve saved it how can you get it onto NSC? Im not usually this stupid!

I just used the Attach file bit underneath where you type your messages.

You might need to resize it if imageshack is saying the file is too big.

The image gets saved to your clipboard, you have to paste it into Paint and save it (as a jpeg if you want it to get past imageshacks size limits, or png if its mainly solid colours)

Just press that button! Nothing will happen, press it when you have just your desktop on the screen. I don't have to press Alt as well, just the Print Screen/SysRq button.

Then open Paint or some such programme and Paste. The PrintScreen image will then appear!

So i've got it into paint and saved it as a jpeg file....how the hell do i post it on here

at the end of this thread, click 'post reply'. there is then a box you can use to enter the location of your saved image on the hard disk. click 'browse' to find it. good luck.

Start->Programmes->Accessories->Paint

or Start->Run->Type in "mspaint" without the inverted commas, and hit enter
