A different kind of pasty
Ah. The Hand in Hand. First saw my ex wife in there. :hammer:
Mrs P met her ex-husband in there! (I know it's not you, he's a Leeds fan)
Oh, and the Seagulls tie hanging from one of the beams is mine.

It's the Gardeners Arms in the Cliffe High Street.
Pete knows his beer.
The really RARE concoction on sale that day was Harvey's You Wouldn't Like It (7.14% at £3 a pint) - brewed specially by Miles Jenner as a one-off, to celebrate the 3,000th real ale sold at the pub. Ben's Grandad might not appreciate the beer, but I'm sure he'd like the name.
What about The Connaught?
Technically its not my local but its the bar I spend most of my time in....just a very very unfortunate name..
Now start the stoning....
Ah! But do you remember The Liverpool? And Old Jim?

Will have to try that Harveys one day, I've never tried it. Am I missing much?
No you are not it is a drink that people like to drink to be part of the 'in crowd' and to be able to spout about real ale but it is not worth rushing for, well at least not in my opinion and I have drunk a fair few pints in my time. I prefer Timothy Taylors Landlord. London Pride or Marstons Pedigree or if drinking localish Hogs Back TEA.
Is the latter the Lewes arms and if so, do they still have the Titanic on tap, I got some bottles in Stoke the other week and your photo seems to show Steerage and an other on tap. If not where is this place that sells Burslems finest beer.
Sorry DerbyGull Q meant for Lord Bracknell
The pub on my road:
But I spend more time in here than anywhere else:
This thread has to go GOLD surely?
There's always this little beauty after watching the Albion get stuffed...
Harveys is good but it’s been overtaken by the new breed of specialist micro-brewers like Dark Star, Fallen Angel, Rectory Ales etc.
Whisky-tastic, whisky fooking tastic
That's the one on Hove Street yeah? Okay, nothing spectacular and a bit too far too walk for me. I get my needs from The Forager and The Neptune for a local drink but I tend to go into town if I'm wanting something above and beyond this.
Although I prefer the White Horse, just up the road
