Was like they were on speed compared to the Studio Album version, probably they were...

I saw them live when they did this tour, bloody marvellous. Lemmy and Stacia combined with the light show mindblowing for a young teenager.
Joy Divisions drummer Stephen Morris recounted in his brilliant book Record Play Pause that Hawkwind was the first band he saw. Accompanied by his parents!

I think one of the other things that makes a great intro is that it’s distinctive and takes you somewhere special(forgive me I know that sounds rubbish!)
