If we have money, I would prefer a bid for Jason Puncheon. He was great for MK Dons at the end of last season and would provide real quality on the wing.

However, the encouraging thing so far is that other than Dicker (who was obvious from the start) we have gone about our business very quietly and efficiently and bought players of quality but also not ones people predicted. I hope to see a couple more next week after Slade's comments.

I would agree with that I think Puncheon was /is a class above most in this division. Think Plymouth paid a lot of money for him so he probably wouldnt be cheap, possible season loan as per MK Dons.

Absolutely, but would he come here and could we afford him? Especially on a perm because I don't think he'd be up for another season on loan at his age.

That is the big question and I think only Tony Bloom knows the answer. We seem to have offered more for Wright than MK and beaten off competition to buy Tunnicliffe. I think Puncheon went from Barnet to Plymouth for about £250K so they would probably want that back. He would be a fantastic signing in an ideal world.

I am firm believer that our next striker needs to have a FLAIR name. Andy Bishop doesn't do it for me

Marlon DE JESUS - 18 year old Ecuadorian striker who plays for El Nacional, is that flair enough for you??
