Odd take. And that means that they're the bad guys...simple
I’m still confused….unless this is like that Rangers and Celtic nonsense, but I always thought that was some of their bigoted fans rather than the Football Clubs. And that means that they're the bad guys...simple
Shame they can’t get the transfer fees correct MC went for £115 not £100 , there are a few other fees they got wrong as well
Really interesting and beneficial for both clubs.
At this point Bloom is simply playing ultimate football manager.
Set up a feeder club to blood your youngsters and give them valuable first team experience. I absolutely love this news if it’s true but completely get that it could also be divisive.
The man simply will not be druv in terms of his search for sporting dominance and there’s no doubt in my mind he see’s Hearts, as he did USG, as a route to silverware, European football and one assumes a pipeline of talent for us.
Clearly there will be administrative hoops to overcome but I can’t see anything other positives here.
Thoughts?!
We don't play in a Mickey mouse league so tricky.Mmm it would be quite nice perhaps if he get us top of league too
Ah that’s that then.Shame they can’t get the transfer fees correct MC went for £115 not £100 , there are a few other fees they got wrong as well
I'd prefer us to stay in the Premier League.
If it got USG from Belgian second division also-rans to Europa League regulars, it could do wonders for a club like Hearts.Well, we’ve run our top secret sooper-dooper state-of-the-art patented algorithm like you asked us to, and it shows that either Celtic or Rangers will probably win the title this year. That’ll be £10m please, thank you.
Presumably being UK based it's easier and more convenient for Bloom to manage the various legalities, whilst being pretty much the largest available club he could wrestle a sizeable stake in north of the border.I wonder why Hearts. No disrespect to Hearts, but 10m is chicken feed in football terms and there must be a lot of bigger clubs willing to get their hands on his knowledge for a lot more. I guess he doesn’t want to help a potential competitor but even so.
That’s a good point actually, there’s quite a lot of paperwork for data now the UK is not in the EU.Presumably being UK based it's easier and more convenient for Bloom to manage the various legalities, whilst being pretty much the largest available club he could wrestle a sizeable stake in north of the border.
Similar opportunity to USG, I imagine we might have less benchwarming loans in the Champ next season and a few more in Scotland and Belgium (again).
Also don't underestimate Edinburgh as a draw for a player. Lovely place to live despite the cold.
He seems to be at the Amex for every home game, so must be more off than on if he does.^ does TB not still live in Australia (on and off)
I expect his intention is slowly to build into co-ownershipThat’s exactly how I read it from a different source. Nothing was said about co-ownership. I’d also note that £10m is a huge sum of money for any Scottish club beyond the big two so I’m very slightly doubtful.
It's all utimately for the benefit of us as his one true love. He's is looking for anyway to legally game the system and have control in our favour of our playing assets.I don't really see what's in this fir Mr. Bloom. The £10M is what he'll presumably buy his minority share with, if approved by the current owners - not that 'investing' in football clubs is likely to see a return; buying a football club (or part of one) is just spending money, shirley? Still, it's his money.............................
Presumably Hearts will pay to use Starlizard?
And we'll have exactly the same problem that we had with USG if (and it is a quite likely if) we finish up in the same European competition at some point in the future.I expect his intention is slowly to build into co-ownership

Honestly i'd rather our non squad players or youth team had a better development window than farming them out to random pathway clubs where they may or may not be used in the way we deem appropriate.
The USG pathway has slowed since he had to reduce his holding to comply with UEFA co-ownership requirements but expect he will develop a similar ownership model with Hearts in time.
