[Albion] Positives from tonight

Thunder Bolt

Silly old bat
Are you saying that our striker didn't get a single chance all game, in a game where we had 65% possession and 19 (I think) shots?

Oh dear, oh dear, oh dear. There is something badly wrong there and it needs fixing if we are ever going to turn possession into points.

I know you’re trolling but 27 points halfway through the season, is 10 more than last year. We are picking up the points, because we aren’t losing.

We played them off the park and they got very lucky. Simples. We have got a fantastic team and squad and should be very proud of them. We are making real progress in the best league in the world and have a good chance of improving to mid table or top half. I think life is just wonderful.

Nailed it

I'm not trolling. I'm continuing to point out that we are consistently failing to turn possession into points (3) against teams where we dominate games. It's been going on for 3 seasons and I see no evidence that we are close to resolving it. Yes, we have done well to get 1 point against Liverpool, 1 point against Chelsea and 1 point against Arsenal. We have done poorly to get 1 point against Leeds, 1 point against Norwich, 1 point against Newcastle, 1 point against Palace, 1 point against Southampton and zero points against Villa.

I agree with you that we need a striker, but you do know that not all chances fall to the striker? Last night for example

The thread title is 'positives from tonight'

Why not start your own 'negatives from tonight' thread? ???

I think it has passed most by but this thread was started during the game as I just knew the first Palace chance would nestle in the net and I thought we would lose when it happened. I am guilty of underestimating the resilience of this squad :lolol:

It was a lot easier to watch and the result much better as we aren't near the relegation places, calm

I'm replying to posts on a thread. It's allowed. 65% possession and 19 shots is positive. 1 point and 1 (own) goal not so much.
You're so repetitive and don't understand why you take the negatives over the positives?

You are either trolling, or don't have much happiness in your life, which makes me feel sad for you if it's the latter.

Can you tell me how many times we have been beaten, and which team have been beaten less?

A bit of perspective is needed. (Or empty your sack)

That’s 1042 days since you last beat us

That is, without question, the most meaningless stat that I've ever read on NSC.

We don't play you every day, do we?

We have won 6 matches, equal 11th best, and lost 4 matches, 4th best.
we have scored 21 goals, 15th best, and conceded 21 goals, 5th best.
Do you see a pattern? We are not very good at winning matches.

On the positive side, we are good at not losing matches.

And my spin is, we are 8th and only lost 4 games. We have been in nearly every game and not been out played.

I am happy as Larry with our performances, position, and points total this season so far.

In fact, I'm happy with the progress the club is making over all.

You keep letting the negativity get to you, whilst for me, the birds are singing, and the sky is blue.

Not necessarily to be seen as a positive but more an observation and maybe given the nature of the game a bit of a surprise, but this was the first league game this season that we didn't pick up a booking!
