We were the better team, we fully deserved our point, the defence were excellent, Maupay again involved in a crucial late goal, Edouard hardly touched the ball, Webster looking England quality, Lamptey dangerous, we're still 4 points above Palace.

1-1 was so predictable I won a few quid

I stuck some cash on 1-0 Palace when we missed the penalty.

I’m frankly delighted I didn’t win my bet.

We played them off the park and they got very lucky. Simples. We have got a fantastic team and squad and should be very proud of them. We are making real progress in the best league in the world and have a good chance of improving to mid table or top half. I think life is just wonderful.

Things keep improving and we’re more consistent this year. We turn unlucky losses into unlucky draws. With a top player in final third to complement all our good ones, instead of top half like other seasons, we’d be in Euro places. Sadly still not making that extra money from finishing higher as we’re investing what we do have excellently in yet more excellent midfielders and defenders.

Oh and we’re above palarse and completely dominated them yet again. Just don’t get the rewards as usual. Onwards and upwards.

We're mentally and physically fitter than ever. We have some seriously strong players, Cucu is unbelievable in that respect. The future is very bright.
